That's a good idea but it's already been changed around completely. And the game is in progress :]
I say make some changes. I think it looks a little not puppyish cuz of a few things. Most dogs have big ears that either point up or flop forward/back. Also the snout should maybe be sticking out a bit more instead of being flat on the face. The ears are def throwing me off tho. Good luck

Just being honest with ya. People will keep saying that and you'll never have an original style. I used to be 'inspired' by lazymuffin, it just doesn't work man.
Dude everyone has a style like someone else. Like... Everyones is similar in one way or another. You can't say you copy someones style when like lets say yours is in some way like gonzos. And I don't care what people say.
Of course everybody is inspired by other artists, and everybody shares similarities, but that's all to a certain degree. Anyways, it doesn't matter that much. It's just that you'll get called a copycat a lot of times, and it gets really annoying after a while.

They look a tad more like wookies from star wars rather than pups, dogs have more ears than little tufts. Also the nose is a bit stubby i know some dogs have squashed faces like pugs but they have visible muzzles.
They look more human or as I said wookie they need more of a dog like anatomy.
And try not to make your art to much like gonzo's newgrounds doesn't need more copy artists because you'll pretty much just blend into his shadow or be insulted for it.
